Ford Fiesta 1.6 Fly Convertible 1983 For Sale
Spotted on Pistonehads for a touch under £4,500 is this rather unusual and very rare Ford Fiesta 1.6 Fly Convertible.
The advert reads as follows:
SILVER Convertible.
1600cc Manual.
Metallic Silver. ORIGINAL VELOUR INTERIOR, 13″ CROSS SPOKE ALLOYS,COMPLETE FILE WITH SERVICE HISTORY AND RECEIPTS,FRONT SPOTS, MANUFACTURED IN 1983, THE FORD FIESTA FLY WAS BASED ON THE STANDARD XR2 HATCHBACK, REGISTERED AND THEN SENT TO SPECIALIST COACHBUILDERS CRAYFORD FOR THE CONVERSION. THE ORIGINAL CONVERSION WAS BASED ON THE 1.3 GHIA WHERE 15 WERE PRODUCED AND THEN FOCUSED ON THE XR2 WHERE ONLY 7 WERE BUILT
This certainly would turn heads and would make a great show car given how rare it is.
